From April 10th to 11th, it was jointly sponsored by the Hydraulic Machinery Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Hydropower Engineering, the Hydropower Equipment Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering, the Water Turbine Professional Committee of the Chinese Power Engineering Society, and the Information Network of the Hydraulic Machinery Professional Committee of the Chinese Hydropower Engineering Society. The 23rd China Hydropower Equipment Symposium was successfully held in Tonglu, Zhejiang. Tonglu County Science and Technology Association undertaked the guidance, and Zhejiang Fuchunjiang Hydropower Equipment Co., Ltd. hosted the meeting as the host. A total of 238 representatives of experts, professors and professionals from scientific research, design, manufacturing, operation and management units of the national hydropower industry attended the meeting.
On the morning of April 10, the opening ceremony of the conference was held. Society leaders and industry experts Mr. Li Shidong, Mr. Wu Yunxi, Mr. Zhao Kun, Mr. Zeng Zhenling, Mr. Li Tieyou, Mr. Qin Daqing, Mr. Luo Xingqi, Mr. Zhang Qiang, Hangzhou Science and Technology Association leader Chen Guanlin, Zhefu Hydropower General Manager Mr. Zheng Huaiyong sat on the rostrum. Mr. Zheng Huaiyong extended a warm welcome to leaders, experts and representatives to Tonglu. This meeting has been highly valued by the higher society. Mr. Li Shidong, deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Society of Hydropower Engineering, and Mr. Wu Yunxi, former deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Fully affirmed, analyzed the current situation and development of hydropower in China, and put forward new requirements and hopes for the work of the special committee. Mr. Chen Guanlin, Member of the party group and vice chairman of Hangzhou Science and Technology Association, attended the meeting and gave a speech, congratulating the successful opening of the meeting. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Zhang Qiang, Vice Chairman of the Hydraulic Machinery Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Hydropower Engineering.
Afterwards, the conference carried out academic and technical exchanges, which were presided over by Mr. Qin Daqing, Chairman of the Hydraulic Turbine Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Power Engineering. The conference exchanged 7 papers, discussed new ideas, new theories, new viewpoints and advanced technologies for the development of hydraulic machinery technology, and put forward suggestions for the selection and design of new or renovated power stations and pumping stations and the development strategy of hydropower. The representatives spoke freely and discussed enthusiastically. From different angles, different aspects, combined with the actual work, they exchanged their own experience, practices, highlights and plans for the next step in the work, and the academic atmosphere was strong. Mr. Zhang Xuzhong, Deputy Chief Designer of Zhefu Hydropower, made a technical exchange report to the conference on behalf of Zhefu.
This meeting received 105 papers, 93 of which were reviewed and collected by experts, edited into a volume, and published by China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Press. During the meeting, academic exchanges were conducted in three groups according to the content of the papers. The representatives and the authors of the papers had heated discussions and exchanges, and the academic atmosphere was strong. The paper academic exchange group recommended the candidate excellent papers respectively, and after discussion by the academic committee of the conference, 15 papers were finally selected from 93 papers as the excellent papers of this conference. The selection of excellent papers is presided over by Mr. Zhao Kun, Chairman of the Academic Committee.
On the afternoon of April 11, the closing ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Mr. Zeng Zhenling, Chairman of the Hydraulic Machinery Professional Committee of the China Hydropower Engineering Society. At the closing ceremony of the conference, the leaders of the three professional committees awarded honorary certificates to the winners of 15 outstanding papers. Mr. Zhan Ge, Mr. Liu Shengzhu, Mr. Zhang Huanneng, Mr. Feng Jianjun, and Mr. Luo Xingqi from Zhefu Hydropower Co.,Ltd. "Research on the Hump Characteristics of Centrifugal Pumps Based on Numerical Simulation", and Mr. Ling Chengzhen and Mr. Shi Xuming's "Development of Giant Axial-flow Rotary Paddle Turbines for Datengxia Water Conservancy Project" were selected as excellent papers. Mr. Li Tieyou, Chairman of the Hydropower Equipment Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering, reported to the conference the preparations for the next twenty-fourth China Hydropower Equipment Symposium. Mr. Yang Ke, Deputy General Manager of Zhefu Hydropower, introduced to the participants the comprehensive development of Zhefu Hydropower in recent years and the latest scientific research achievements and achievements. The meeting was successfully concluded.
During the meeting, all the participating leaders, experts and representatives also visited and inspected Zhefu Hydropower Manufacturing Base, Investigated the existing hydropower equipment production line, Hydraulic model test bench, Nuclear power equipment R&D and production center, Pumped storage unit equipment production line, etc., to learn more about various R&D and production of advanced equipment and the progress of new production capacity construction.
