With a premium placed on the pollution-free disposal and resource utilization of hazardous waste, we are committed to developing circular economy with clean production technologies, and we have built facilities for the following integrated operating process of this business segment: collection-storage-pollution-free disposal-deep resource processing. Large bases for hazardous waste disposal, with annual disposal capacity of 1.67 million tons for 35 categories, have been established in Hangzhou and Jinhua (Zhejiang), Taizhou (Jiangsu), Ma'anshan (Anhui), Fuzhou (Jiangxi), Dalian (Liaoning), and Chenzhou (Hunan). Through high-temperature melting, which is considered as a core technology for industrialization, more 100,000 tons of metal ingots and 600,000 tons of basic building materials (i.e., water-quenched slag) are recovered from hazardous waste each year. This has enabled recycling of hazardous waste and the goal of converting waste into resources, thereby contributing to China’s Zero-waste City initiative.
